The Importance of Personal Background Checks - |
|
The purpose of personal background checks is to get a feel for the applicant’s character. Personal and professional references are a good starting point, however, experts in the investigative field caution employers on using this method solely. Prospective employees are obviously going to give references of people whom they trust will provide a good character reference for them. Those references may not necessarily be fabricating information regarding the applicant; they simply may not know pertinent information about him or her. Another method employer’s use is obtaining a credit report on the prospective employee. While privacy advocates argue the necessity in reviewing credit... |

Find People Online, Make A Background Check & Gain Peace Of Mind
Author:
O. Montag
How many times have you wondered if that young man dating your daughter has good intentions and what background he may have. Many times we have bad feelings or are suspicious of people that suddenly appears close to us or to a loved one and we don’t know if those feelings can be a secure indication of something wrong with that person or if that’s only our imagination or prejudices. Now in the Information Era we are fortunate enough to be able to cope with the uncertainty of being just prejudiced against someone new in our social circle and become certain of who that person really is by having the means of performing a background check as complete as those the Police Department can do. This great advantage of the internet era is equally good in other circumstances, for example when buying property that you need to know if it’s “clean” and the past owners have nothing to hide from you, for example when buying real estate or a used car. Also there are cases you need to find someone you once met and now has lost contact with you. For example a former girl or boyfriend that you want to see again, or a relative living abroad that you don’t know the precise address where he lives. There may be a bunch of important reasons for finding
people online, some of them are: - Business Search
- Criminal Search
- Unclaimed Money
- Property Search
- Bankruptcies & Liens
- Marriage & Divorce
- Death Search In fact using the same database used by the government and law enforcement agencies you can find anything you want to know about a person from the comfort of your own home, and at a fraction of the cost of hiring a private investigator. Need to find someone? You will surely find him or her using this service: => http://www.askingplanet.com/Find_People

Tips On How To Conduct Background Checks for Nanny Services |
|
Hiring a nanny is a sophisticated process that involves searching, interviewing, checking references and extending an offer to the right candidate. When the nanny has accepted your offer, the final step is conducting a criminal background check. Your offer should be contingent on the outcome of those results. What to check? It's hard to imagine that in this era of the Internet and computerization there is no reliable national criminal database that is accessible by the public. The "gold standard" for checking a nanny's background is to first run a search using her Social Security Number to see where she has lived in the past seven years. This is done so that a decision can be made on which counties should be searched. Yes, that's right, these searches are done county by county, not nationally. Few states have a reliable criminal index that is suitable for nanny background checking because nannies tend to commit misdemeanors at most. Many of these indexes only turn up people who have felony convictions and/or have served time. Many states don't have statewide indexes at all. Which counties should you search? Obviously the safest method is to check each county, but in some cases this can get quite costly. A fairly typical scenario may be a nanny who left home to go to college, after which she may have changed schools and then moved again after graduation. So let's say she's 23 now and there are four years that can be searched since she turned 18. 2001 lived at home, 18 years old 2001-2003 moved for college 2003-2005 lived at her second college 2005- moved after graduation to another city In this case, since she turned 18 at home and moved shortly thereafter, the duration of time spent at her home residence and the city she moved to after graduation is... |
